Review Me Announced
In the wake of another up and coming blog related company getting VC funding, Review Me will be the next company into the fold for the bloggers out there with monetization on the mind. Review Me is not a “Me Too!” company however, but the comparison with the previously mentioned company, Pay Per Post is hard to ignore. While Pay Per Post gives bloggers cash for blogging on advertisers topics, Review Me promises to be different, at least when disclosure that a blogger is being incentivized to post about a topic or product.
Here is quote from the Review Me blog…..
“At ReviewMe we are going to bypass this entire problem (opportunity?) and require that bloggers disclose posts that are paid reviews (in whatever way they are comfortable with and that is appropriate for their blog’s audience). These sort of disclosures are very common in all forms of media. Business as usual (for us, at least).”
So, another way for bloggers to make a buck, not bad, it will be interesting to see how discussions ensue about whether or not disclosure is important.
