Blogging Scholarship up for grabs
Aaron from SEO Book turned us on to this story about what appears to be the first scholarship for blogging ever. This looks like a pretty cool thing and is being put on by the site, Scholarships around the US. The scholly is for 5k too, so head on over to the site and get your application in. Even if you dont put in for it, you will have an opportunity to vote for the winner later this week.
Here are some of the requirements….
Scholarship Requirements:
- Your blog must contain unique and interesting information about you and/or things you are passionate about. No spam bloggers please!!!
- U.S. citizen;
- 3.0 GPA;
- Enrolled full-time in post-secondary education; and
- If you win, you must be willing to allow us to list your name and blog on our page. We want to be able to say we knew you before you became a well educated, rich, and famous blogging legend.
Blogging continues to become more and more legit, its quite fun to watch it all unfold. Stay tuned……
